Job Summary
Assist the Project Manager and/or Superintendent by timely and accurately performing routine activities in administration, management, materials / equipment procurement, quality, safety, and project closeout. Additional duties include managing projects by collecting, developing, assembling and providing data and information while maintaining productive working relationships with staff, subcontractors and Owner representatives. Job Responsibilities
Assist in project estimating (to include preparing Invitation to Bids, sending plans to subcontractors, contacting subcontractors regarding their interests in the project and providing addendas, value engineering) Assist with construction office administrative duties Maintain project records Help track/control quality and costs Assist PM and / or Superintendent with review of project proposal to determine time frame, budget, procedures, staffing, allotment of resources, and project schedule Help prepare monthly pay applications Coordinate owner, architect & contractor meetings Procurement of building permits to include submission of plans to the appropriate city building departments Procurement of general contractor licensing as required Assisting with project start up to include the creation of subcontractor documents Submittal review and distribution to appropriate parties RFI creation Reviewing change order requests Material procurement Tracking of submittals, RFIs & schedules Generating weekly meeting agendas and recording weekly meeting minutes for distribution to appropriate parties Assisting the project team with closing out projects (subcontractor warranties, O&M's and required forms, completion of punch list items). Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience Proficient abilities in reading and interpreting plans and specifications Experience preparing take offs and estimates Proficient in Microsoft software (Outlook, Excel, Word) Experience with Bluebeam a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced setting Ability to present self in a professional manner and represent the company image Excellent verbal and written communication skills Company Description
