We provide multi-disciplined services for a variety of public agencies and private entities, including transportation design, water resources design, environmental analysis & permitting, construction engineering & inspection, traffic engineering & transportation planning, surveying, and land acquisition & appraisal. Our transportation design team offers a variety of services, most of which involve roadway and bridge design for local public agencies and state DOTs.

Responsibilities
Serve as a technical lead in the planning and execution of complex engineering projects
Conduct advanced engineering analysis and design for specialized projects
Provide technical guidance to project teams and junior engineers
Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and emerging technologies
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to solve complex engineering challenges
Contribute to the development and improvement of engineering processes and standards
Mentor and coach junior and mid‑level engineers
Act as a subject matter expert in a specific engineering discipline
Perform QA/QC on project deliverables
Participate in firm‑wide quality control initiatives
Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules for contract development
Coordinate with other departments and sub‑consultants to allocate project scope and develop budget and schedule proposals
Assist with business development efforts and prepare statements of qualifications and letters of interest
May perform other duties associated with this role
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
15+ years of experience as a project engineer or project manager on local agency and/or DOT roadway projects
Possesses advanced, specialized knowledge in roadway/highway design
Licensed Professional Engineer
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team and mentor junior level staff
