Tesla . What to expect and what you will do will be focused on supporting production at the Gigafactory Nevada, working on the manufacturing floor and interfacing with engineering, planning, and production to ensure production goals are met. What You'll Do
Build a strong, motivated PC team capable of consistently managing raw material and finished goods inventory Ensure efficient, timely raw material replenishment to enable production teams to meet aggressive production targets Empower the PC team to collaborate with production to improve consumption processes and maintain replenishment programs Support issue resolution including root cause investigation and corrective action tracking for accuracy, latency and PIT management Ensure adherence to all PC processes as outlined in the Standardized Work Instructions and provide training and support to team members Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to adopt best practices across PC Lead Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) assurance functions for the team, ensuring safety training is current, documenting incidents, correcting hazards, and empowering continuous improvement What You'll Bring
3+ years of experience managing Materials teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment with evidence of positively impacting Material Flow processes Experience in selecting, developing, and training new team members Ability to develop Material Flow performance metrics, including efficiency, quality, safety, accuracy, and cost Ability to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines Strong relationship-building with key PC stakeholders and clear written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail Proficiency with common MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Benefits
