We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to provide on‑site maintenance support and ensure a high quality living experience for our residents.
Responsibilities
Prepare all market‑ready apartments, including painting, carpet cleaning/repair, general repairs, and housekeeping to deliver a quality product to residents.
Complete resident service requests in a timely manner.
Diagnose and respond to maintenance issues involving plumbing, pool maintenance, air conditioning, heating, general carpentry, appliance, electrical, painting, caulking, snow removal, scheduling, and life safety.
Maintain grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog parks to keep them clean and free of debris and safety issues.
Perform on‑call emergency procedures as required.
Report maintenance issues that affect the budget, such as life safety, vacant repairs, property damages, and common area needs to the manager.
Schedule and perform preventative maintenance and record such activities.
Possess knowledge of state, local, and federal housing laws, codes, policies, and systems regarding maintenance.
Attend and participate in training programs as required by Cushman & Wakefield and local jurisdictions.
Provide superior customer service and represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
Competencies
Work any shift Sunday–Saturday to support the company’s business needs.
Use clean agents and equipment safely for job duties.
Apply basic arithmetic skills (whole numbers, fractions, decimals).
Compute ratios and percent and interpret bar graphs.
Maintain a valid driver’s license.
Hold required safety certifications (CPO, EPA 608 Type II, or local city certificate).
Follow all Cushman & Wakefield safety policies and procedures.
Education
High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school.
Experience
3+ years of related maintenance experience.
EPA 608 – Minimum Type II, or CPO, or local city required certificate.
Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Regularly required to travel between properties in varying weather conditions.
Physical Demands Stand and walk for extended periods, ascend/descend staircases, ladders, and step stools, and travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions. Maintain a stationary position for 85% of the time. Exert up to 100 pounds occasionally or frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
