Overview
The Mechanical Engineer is an important role at Leadec. The Senior Mechanical Engineering will work with the engineering team to successfully and efficiently deliver high-quality mechanical engineering solutions to our external and internal customers. The position is will report the Mechanical Engineering Group Manager.

Our North American Engineered Services division in Greenville, South Carolina is searching for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the development and growth of this business in North America.
The Engineering department is involved in many different aspects of projects at Leadec, from designing solutions for customer needs to developing validation methods for internal fabrications. Our typical projects include:
Automotive Body, Paint & Assembly plant upgrades and greenfield installation projects
Automotive Powertrain plant upgrades and greenfield installation projects
Upgrades and installation projects for other manufacturing industries
Structural steel and mezzanine design, manufacture and installation
Conveyor design, manufacture and installation
Robot installations and programming
Heavy equipment relocation of manufacturing equipment (Rigging & Millwright Projects)
On-site technical services to support project and customer needs
Adhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively
All other duties as assigned by Leadec Manager
Primary Responsibilities
Work as a part of our engineering team or individually as directed by your supervisor
Provide field engineering support for the installation and modification of equipment during summer shutdowns
Use your engineering skills to design new or modify existing plant processing equipment, steel structures or system components
3-D Modeling, design and analysis
2-D CAD general arrangement and detailing
Generation of Bills of Material for purchase or fabrication
Team collaboration with systems engineering, project management and installation crews
Field investigation including feasibility analysis, field measurements, and collaboration with installation crews
