Position Summary In this role as a Technician you will be responsible for stabilizing production and securing the best quality through optimized operation of semiconductor wet clean equipment.
You’ll also stabilize mass production of new product in early stages by drawing and solving problems through verification of new product.
Additionally, you will work to reduce cost by finding and solving problems that cause low productivity and high cost on site.
Role and Responsibilities
Performing Preventative Maintenance (PM)/Change Point Management (CPM)/System Maintenance, following standard operating procedures to ensure equipment/ processes/systems are running effectively.
Troubleshooting: Conducts failure analysis and follows scripts to troubleshoot and anticipate future failures.
Monitoring Equipment/Process: Monitoring equipment and processes in current state and proactively looks for ways to improve processes.
Skills and Qualifications
Ability to work within a team environment and effectively communicate throughout organization.
Ability to acquire and apply job skills and learn the company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks that are routinely/semi-routinely in nature.
Ability to follow established procedures on work.
High school or vocational college graduates.
Employment Information All positions at Samsung Austin Semiconductor require you to be onsite. We are not currently accepting applications for candidates who currently, or in the future, will need visa sponsorship. All positions at SAS are full-time on-site.
Compensation The current base salary range for this role is between $18.60/hour - $60.40/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
Night Shifts
B Shift – Sunday through Tuesday (6:45 pm – 7:15 am) with alternating Saturdays
D Shift – Wednesday through Friday (6:45 pm – 7:15 am) with alternating Saturdays
