Master's degree in social work, marriage & family therapy, or psychology from an accredited college or university required. (1) year direct service experience with emotionally disturbed adolescents in a health care setting required (student internship and/or practicum time may be substituted). Experience working in an inpatient acute setting preferred. Licensed as AMFT, ACSW, APCC, LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC required. How You Will Make a Difference
Prepares a comprehensive written psychosocial evaluation and assessment for admitted clients. Participates in treatment team meetings and is responsible for a coordinated treatment plan for each client. Provides individual and family psychotherapy. Leads or co-leads psychotherapy, psycho-educational and therapeutic activity groups. Responsible for permanency planning including assessing client's readiness for discharge; coordinating and planning with treatment team; making appropriate referrals for placement, case management and aftercare services; and coordinating benefits with Business Office personnel. Prepares and submits client documentation in EMR according to specified timelines. Provides consultation as needed with families on issues regarding admission, discharge, and aftercare plans.
