Lead teams on large, complex installation projects with limited supervision. Lead and document daily toolbox talks, ORMs and safety audits. Install and maintain equipment at local and global levels per design packages. Program and install head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systems. Troubleshoot and isolate both systems and/or hardware locally and globally. Lead on-site software commissioning and testing. Lead inspections, evaluations, and inventory; perform take-offs from project drawings; create and manage documentation. Document and track RFIs; design assist and provide feedback. Document daily reports and project progress; communicate project and team member issues to management. Create and manage project schedules; integrate IDS, ACS and CCTV systems. Forecast and manage project labor hours; communicate effectively with supervisors and subordinates. Guide and mentor technicians. Maintain a 100% travel requirement for the role. Qualifications
Clearance/Citizen Type:
Applicants may be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; no clearance is required at the time of application. Key Requirements:
Valid driver’s license; ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle; acceptable driving record per policy. Education:
HS diploma or GED; Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or an Electrical Apprenticeship program; plus an additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities. Required Progressive Experience:
8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems and customer programs; 3 years of the above focused on electronic security systems; strong communication and teamwork skills; proficiency with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint a plus; ability to travel up to 50%. Desired / Advantageous Qualifications:
Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV systems and related platforms (CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch, etc.). What We Offer
