This role involves designing water and wastewater pump stations, treatment facilities/processes, conveyance systems, technical writing, and construction drawing and specification production. Base pay

Base pay range: $82,900.00/yr - $145,100.00/yr What you’ll do

Design water and wastewater pump stations and conveyance systems. Develop treatment facilities/processes for water and wastewater plants (primary, secondary, tertiary, and solids treatment). Prepare piping systems, rotating equipment (centrifugal pumps, blowers), valves, and appurtenances for in-plant process piping and chemical systems. Produce construction drawings and specifications; perform hydraulic studies and pipe sizing calculations. Perform P&ID development in coordination with process control engineers. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree. At least 8 years of experience in water/wastewater process mechanical engineering for municipal or industrial clients. Related experience in adjacent industries (e.g., food & beverage, brewing, mining, chemical processing) is encouraged if relevant to process equipment integration, fluid handling systems, and mechanical utilities. Detailed mechanical design experience for water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems. Experience developing P&ID’s in coordination with process control engineers. Professional Engineer (P.E.) License. Ideal additional qualifications

Hydraulic modeling experience. Experience designing piping systems, valves, and appurtenances for water and wastewater plant process piping (ductile iron, steel, PVC, HDPE, copper, etc.). Experience with design and implementation of rotating equipment and process treatment equipment. Experience developing plans and specifications; familiarity with Design-Build, CMAR/CM-GC and/or EPC projects. Construction support services for water and wastewater projects or related industries. The base salary range for this position is $82,900.00 to $145,100.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
