2nd Shift Master Maintenance Mechanic

Hanover Foods Corporation - Centre Hall, PA, is seeking an experienced Master Maintenance Mechanic. The Master Maintenance Mechanic leads complex maintenance, repair, and installation projects in a food manufacturing environment. This 2nd Shift position works 2pm - 10pm with a $0.50 2nd Shift Differential. Responsibilities
Performs advanced mechanical repairs and maintenance on production equipment, including welding, fabrication, and electrical troubleshooting. Reads and interprets technical drawings and schematics for equipment installation, modification, and line changeovers. Diagnoses and resolves complex equipment and system issues to reduce downtime and support production efficiency. Leads, trains, and supports mechanics on the maintenance team; oversees crews on assigned projects. Executes and supports preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability. Ensures compliance with GMPs, food safety, sanitation, plant security, and safety standards at all times. Maintains accurate documentation of maintenance activities. Keeps work areas clean, organized, and audit-ready in alignment with food manufacturing standards. Collaborates with production and quality teams to minimize equipment-related impacts to product quality. Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager. Exhibits expert-level mechanical skills, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial food processing equipment repair. Proficiency in welding, fabrication, and electrical troubleshooting in a production setting. Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and preventive/predictive maintenance programs preferred. Ability to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, or other industrial equipment. Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and food safety requirements. Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to train others. Effective problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
