Junior-to-Mid Level Civil Engineer

As a preeminent engineering consulting firm, we seek exceptionally qualified engineers to join our Civil design team in leadership and/or technical roles. Currently we offer an excellent career opportunity for a junior Civil Engineer who will be responsible for some or all of the following types of tasks: NYS DEC / NYC DEP BEPA Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan applications, DEP Hydrological + Hydraulic (H+H) Analyses of sewer loading for rezoned areas or otherwise, DEP Site Connection Plan and House Connection Plan (SD1 & SD2) for new sanitary and storm connections to sewer, Blue Roof design, detention tank design, green roof design, dry well, etc DEP Cross Connection Plans for RPZ, DCVA, DCDA, and RPDA for new water and fire service connections, Site Grading and Drainage Design, DEP Hydrant Flow Test Application and Processing, DEP Sewer As Built Map Application and Processing, DEP Field Investigations Application and Processing, Rainwater harvesting system design and irrigation needs analyses, and/or Performing requisite DEP and/or NYC TR1 field inspections and supporting signoffs. Tasks may also occasionally include builders pavement plans, vault applications, curb cut, and parks applications as applicable to a given project. As time and qualifications afford, responsibilities may also include an opportunity to work in cross-disciplinary roles including but not limited to: a) supporting our sustainable design team with things like rainwater harvesting system design/grant applications, gray/blackwater reuse system design or similar, waste energy recovery from sewer flows, etc., b) developing and submitting utility service applications to respective utility companies, c) MEP mechanical, plumbing and/or fire sprinkler design. In this capacity you will interface with internal Project Managers and clients, owners, regulatory authorities and/or architects on a routine basis, so strong communication skills are desired.
