About the Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician Role As a mobile diesel mechanic/technician, you’ll be the field‑based expert our customers rely on to keep their fleets on the road. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Class 6‑8 trucks and trailers, including emergency roadside service when needed. With your own fully equipped service truck, top‑tier tools, and a supportive team, you’ll tackle new challenges every day and deliver safe, reliable, and efficient service.

Where You’ll Make an Impact

Perform onsite preventative maintenance, DOT inspections and follow‑up repairs on Class 6‑8 trucks and trailers.

Handle emergency road service calls with confidence and urgency.

Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance.

Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems.

Use advanced diagnostic tools, handheld computers and precision instruments.

Use hand tools, power tools and welding equipment to complete repairs.

Road‑test vehicles to ensure every repair meets top‑quality standards.

Meet or beat industry‑standard repair times.

Work with vendors to source parts and keep operations moving.

Maintain company‑issued service truck and pre‑/post‑trip inspections.

Support teammates wherever needed.

What Makes You a Great Fit

At least 3 years of hands‑on diesel tech experience on Class 6‑8 trucks and trailers.

DOT inspection and air‑brake repair expertise.

Strong communication skills.

Comfortable using mobile apps, navigation systems and digital tools.

Ready for the outdoors – rain or shine at customer yards.

Independent, dependable, and self‑motivated.

Positive attitude and safety‑first mindset.

23+ with a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.

Bring your own hand tools; we supply all other equipment.

Work Environment

Dynamic, high‑traffic areas – safety and precision are key.

Exposure to dust, diesel fumes, and noise typical of a shop or yard environment.

Handling chemicals, oils, and grease as part of repair work.

Lift, move and position heavy equipment or components.

Bend, kneel, crawl and crouch to access vehicle components.

Work outdoors in all weather conditions – rain or shine.
