Position: Electrician

Position Summary Performs highly skilled tasks to install, repair and maintain electrical equipment, lighting, service utilities and related structures. May also perform highly skilled tasks to construct, repair, and maintain plant equipment, buildings, and related structures.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain compliance with the Huber Sustainability Management Standard within their sphere of influence, including air, wastewater, storm water permits or other applicable rules. Report environmental, health, and safety incidents or concerns to management for resolution.
Perform highly skilled electrical maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:
Distribute secondary power (480 volt) and install related equipment
Install and maintain voice and data communications
Install and maintain PLC control systems
Apply 3 phase, 1 phase, AC/DC circuits
Maintain and troubleshoot electric motors and generators
Install and maintain motor controls (starters, motor control centers, and controlling devices)
Major troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment
Troubleshoot electronic equipment and perform board-change repairs
Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic circuits
Calibrate quality-critical instruments and controllers
Install and wire motors
Run conduit, wire ways and electrical cable
Install switches, lights, and receptacles
Install 110/220-volt distribution centers
Analyze and perform preventive maintenance
As assigned, perform other maintenance duties:
Repair and replace gear boxes
Occasional welding, cutting and brazing
Repair and diagnosis of packaging equipment issues
Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic conveying, compressed air systems, and steam boiler
Inform Instrument/Electric Service Coordinator of problems encountered during repairs and construction, PLC structuring, PLC programming, troubleshooting, instrument calibration, communications, milling equipment operation, and electrical safety procedures.
Participate in and execute project developments as assigned.
Provide leadership and On-the-Job training for maintenance or electrical personnel.
Possess an overall knowledge of plant operations.
Be knowledgeable of the ISO quality system to ensure compliance with ISO 9001.
Follow all applicable company policies and safe practices and perform duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Specialized/Technical Knowledge Or Required Skills
High School Diploma or GED required.
Formal training through an accredited apprenticeship or vocational/technical school; evidence of electrical safety and electrical practice experience is mandatory.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years industrial experience or technical school equivalent.
Knowledge of electricity and electrical theory, electrical construction and troubleshooting, PLC ladder logic and PLC programming. Ability to read and interpret the National Electric Code.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (e.g., multiplication, addition, percentages).
Fabrication and welding experience preferred.
Knowledge of blowers, diverters, baghouses and other pneumatic equipment preferred.
Forklift operation and forklift certification required.
Good communication skills with employees at all levels.
Ability to read and comprehend company safety manual policies, operating procedures, SDS, and production schedules/reports.
Physical Requirements
Lift and move up to 50 lbs.Occasionally; ascend/descend ladders, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and crawl.
Work in dusty environments with varied temperatures, humidity, and exposure to chemicals.

Offered salary is based on factors such as skills, experience, responsibilities, degrees/certifications, and market considerations.
