Fleet Mechanic for an
entry-level
position. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills and the ability to work
under supervision
while gaining hands-on experience maintaining emergency vehicles. Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of ambulances and support vehicles, including but not limited to: Preventive maintenance (oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and brake inspections) Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues Replacing worn or damaged parts Ensuring vehicles are equipped with all necessary safety equipment Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed Working closely with fleet management to identify and address potential issues Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures Staying current with the latest advancements in vehicle technology and maintenance techniques Qualifications
ASE Certification required High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license Basic mechanical skills with a willingness to learn Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work under supervision and as part of a team Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift and carry heavy objects Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Clean driving record Certificate or diploma in automotive technology or a related field Experience working on diesel engines Experience with emergency vehicle maintenance Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures Benefits
