Job Overview As a Plumber, you will assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, and drainage systems. You will read building plans to determine work aids, maintain mechanical supply and drain lines, perform preventative maintenance on pumps and heating systems, and ensure compliance with plumbing codes and safety regulations. Work Schedule 2nd & 3rd Shift Available Pay Rate $36.63 hourly Work Model Onsite Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and maintain all plumbing components including waterless urinals, showers, floor drains, sinks, tubs, toilets, urinals, basins, faucets, water fountains, and garbage disposals. Troubleshoot, repair, replace and maintain all water heaters (gas, electric, steam) and their control and safety devices. Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and fittings, using hand and power tools, pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe-threading machines. Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and metal pipes. Perform backflow preventer testing and repairs. Provide professional, customer‑oriented service on all tasks. Perform basic electrical wiring for water heaters, pumps, and control devices. Plan and lay out work from blueprints, drawings, and verbal/written instructions. Respond to emergency site maintenance and on‑call duties. Coordinate with other trades and warehouse personnel for material and equipment needs. Conduct periodic stock inventories and prepare material requisitions. Operate company vehicles and equipment safely. Support other staff and trade groups as needed. Adhere to safety protocols, personnel policies, and standard operating procedures. Perform any other duties as assigned, including support of CMMS and other departments.

Job Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent GED. At least five (5) years’ experience in plumbing and maintenance. Valid Journeyman Plumbing license or equivalent. Valid Backflow Prevention certificate. Knowledge of safety precautions (PPE, lockout/tagout). Ability to obtain Backflow Certification within 90 days of employment. Maintain Hepatitis B vaccination within 6 months if not already up‑to‑date. Proficient with hand and power tools. Extensive knowledge of plumbing codes and standards. Basic mathematical skills. Professional, courteous communication with diverse stakeholders. Pass pre‑hire drug and background screening. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Maintain the required intelligence‑community clearance. U.S. citizenship. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. Ability to work overtime and other shifts as needed. Lift 50 lbs individually and up to 75 lbs as a team.
