We are a fast‑growing general contractor in the Kansas City area known for delivering a range of high‑quality commercial and multifamily construction projects. We’re currently looking for a Project Manager who has a strong background in general contracting and a proven track record of leading teams to meet project goals on time and within budget.
Base Pay Range $100,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and budget‑constrained delivery.
Review projects in depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring clarity and efficiency.
Select tools, materials, and equipment, track inventory, and maintain efficient procurement processes.
Conduct daily progress reviews and regular site inspections.
Prepare internal and external reports on job status for stakeholders.
Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses.
Ensure quality construction standards and proper techniques are applied.
Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks while implementing quality control programs.
Lead and manage the project team, fostering a positive collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction project management.
Proven ability to lead teams and manage projects with a strong industry understanding.
Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
Exceptional knowledge of construction cost control and basic accounting principles.
Excellent knowledge of construction contract negotiations and procurement processes.
Strong leadership and team‑management skills, able to motivate and direct towards project goals.
Excellent time‑management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in construction management software packages.
