Manufacturing Technician Third Shift

Support our high‑purity chemical manufacturing operations in the semiconductor industry. As a 3rd shift technician, you’ll help process, package, and qualify advanced materials and ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently.

Job Description What You’ll Be Doing

Operate, monitor, and adjust chemical manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and efficient production.

Handle and measure raw materials in compliance with safety and quality guidelines.

Collect samples for QC lab analysis.

Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.

Process production data transactions in the ERP system (SAP).

Follow SOPs and safety protocols, including PPE use and hazardous material handling.

Clean equipment and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Adhere to 5S practices to maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.

No prior experience required – preferred experience in manufacturing or chemical processing may qualify for higher‑level roles.

Basic math skills for measurements, conversions, and calculations.

Ability to read and follow written instructions, SOPs, and safety guidelines in English.

Strong communication skills for documenting production, reporting issues, and collaborating with team members.

Basic computer skills for data entry; SAP experience preferred.

Forklift driving experience preferred.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators, as needed.

Physical Demands

Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods.

Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling materials and equipment (typically 5–20 lb).

Use of hand trucks, drum dollies, or other material‑handling equipment for heavy drums of material or equipment.

Manual dexterity for equipment operation, material handling, and precise tasks.

Bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching for equipment operation and maintenance.

Climbing stairs and ladders as needed.

Good hand‑eye coordination and visual acuity for monitoring equipment and documentation.

Ability to wear and work in PPE, including gloves, safety glasses, respirators, and chemical‑resistant uniform.

Work Environment

Manufacturing environment with exposure to chemicals, fumes, and airborne particles (PPE provided).

Noise levels requiring hearing protection in designated areas.

Operating near moving machinery and heavy equipment.

Shift work, including nights, weekends, and overtime as production needs require.
