Electronics Technician 3 - Chantilly, VA with Security Clearance

Responsibilities
Execute technical tasks in field operations, including on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
Conduct site surveys, configure hardware and software, test systems for proper operation, and provide technical support to customers.
Participate in quality reviews of design documentation, analyze drawing packages for constructability, and track project metrics.
Execute installation and maintenance activities within planned durations, ensuring completion of detailed documentation.
Track and inventory tools, conduct tool inspections, and organize material ordering and receiving.
Conduct daily ORM meetings, ensure team compliance with safety requirements, and complete accident/incident reporting.
Participate in PITCO plan creation and execution to ensure high-quality testing and installation.
Install system raceway, cabling, equipment racks, enclosures, and panels, adhering to industry standards.
Terminate, test, and configure electronic devices, network, and IT equipment.
Manage base switch configurations, participate in configuration of servers and workstations, and troubleshoot programmable components.
Lead commissioning efforts, track commissioning activities, and represent M.C. Dean in meetings with owners and design teams.
Communicate consistently with project teams, other trades, and customers, demonstrating dedication and collaboration.
Provide constructive feedback, mentor crew members, and encourage strategic thinking and innovation.
Provide look‑ahead for assignment of manpower, material procurement/staging, and resource planning.

Qualifications
Clearance/Citizen Type: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship; ACTIVE TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph is required.
Education: HS diploma or GED; Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or Electrical Apprenticeship program.
Additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities.
Progressive Experience: 6+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems with multiple customer programs.
Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
Strong time‑management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is a plus.
Valid driver’s license; acceptable driving record required.
Preferred Qualifications
Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems: CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, AIphone Intercom Systems, Airphone, FFT, DIVAR, Windows operating systems & certifications and experience in installation of said systems.
3 years experience focused on electronic security systems.
OSHA 30 certification.

Work at various heights up to 60 feet and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and all types of ladders.
Walk, climb, lift, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and reach overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.
Possess good vision (may be corrected), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English.
May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools.
