This position is responsible for providing supervision to all production employees within assigned shifts, specifically either the 2nd or 3rd shift, as well as maintenance employees whenever applicable. The supervisor will oversee operations in either the Bar Mill or Melt Shop, depending on assignment. General responsibilities include achieving daily variable cost and productivity goals, meeting production schedules, and maintaining a safe work environment. Work Environment

As a Production Supervisor, you\'ll play a key role in keeping production on track and costs under control. You\'ll be expected to meet performance and safety goals by applying proactive leadership, creative problem-solving, and tools like the PCC-Toolbox. Success in this role depends on your ability to build strong working relationships with both hourly and salaried team members, motivate your crew, and tackle equipment or process challenges head-on. A solid understanding of ingot-to-billet conversion practices is important. Shift Information

This position will be assigned to either the 2nd or 3rd Shift. Candidates must be available and willing to work either shift depending on operational needs. Basic Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience. Preferred Qualifications

Communicate daily goals and priorities from leadership or shop postings to your team. Provide and document all required training for hourly production employees, including safety protocols. Enforce company policies related to work, safety, and attendance, with proper documentation. Lead accident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Review upcoming jobs before shift start to confirm labor, equipment, and material readiness. Ensure production procedures are followed for quality and process control. Document and report any non-conforming materials or issues. Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas. Complete and review all required checklists, reports, and paperwork related to quality, payroll, and production. Perform Oracle transactions as needed. Support plant safety initiatives and promote a safety-first culture. Follow the local bargaining agreement. Manage overtime lists and ensure accuracy in timekeeping. Drive cost reduction and waste elimination efforts. Relocation

Relocation is authorized for this position. Compensation & Benefits (informational)

Pay range is $73,800 to $110,600 USD, salaried, based on factors. Eligible to participate in the Company\'s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at a quarterly bonus factor of 1.5x the Company\'s bonus multiple, based on performance. Benefits include 120 hours of paid time off per year, 10 paid holidays, medical/dental/vision/basic life insurance, and participation in the 401(k) plan. This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (ITAR/EAR). To be qualified to work in this facility, a U.S. Person status is required or must be authorized to receive controlled information under a license.
