Base Pay Range $23.00/yr - $27.00/yr
Compensation Overtime: $26 - $32 per hour.
Job Summary Manufacturing precision metal products on CNC turning centers. Qualified to operate Twin Spindle / Twin Turret machines manufactured by Eurotech and Mori Seiki. Machining metallic and non‑metallic workpieces for the aerospace industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Read and interpret process plans, and blueprints to determine necessary machining, dimensional specifications, and operating requirements.
Utilize various types of inspection instruments to check work per print.
Complete necessary job‑related paperwork to include part identification, inspection documents, and production log.
Perform basic equipment maintenance: maintain proper coolant levels, filters, fan operation, and clean the machine.
Requirements
Education and experience: 2 years of setup and operating twin spindle / twin turret, 2 years of precision CNC machining, experience with Fanuc controls.
Physical Job Requirements
Regularly required to stand and reach throughout an 8‑hour shift.
Occasionally required to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend.
Frequently required to perform repetitive or short‑cycle work.
Regularly lift, push, or pull up to 10 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Strong work ethic; willing to work overtime to meet tight deadlines as needed.
Understands and observes all necessary safety procedures: safety glasses, shoes, ear protection, machine interlocks, lifting guidelines, etc.
