About the Opportunity
Coalesce Management Consulting (CMC) is partnering with several renewable energy developers delivering utility-scale BESS projects across the United States.
We are looking to engage multiple Construction Managers to act as the developer’s on‑site representatives, responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day construction activities, managing contractors, and ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
These roles are critical in bridging the gap between field execution and the project management team, ensuring consistent delivery performance across a portfolio of major storage projects nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee site‑level construction activities from mobilization through commissioning.
Maintain strict adherence to project safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Coordinate EPCs and subcontractors to ensure progress aligns with schedule and design specifications.
Track performance, identify potential issues, and drive proactive resolution.
Support QA/QC verification, commissioning, and project close‑out.
Represent the developer on‑site, ensuring clear communication between field and project teams.
Required Experience
5+ years of experience leading on‑site construction within BESS, solar, or other utility‑scale renewable projects.
Demonstrated success managing subcontractors and EPC partners.
Strong knowledge of electrical and civil scopes relevant to energy storage construction.
Proven ability to maintain HSE compliance and deliver to quality standards.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
Willingness to travel and remain on‑site during project phases.
