Job Description Summary We are seeking a Pump and Power Road Technician 2 (Field Service Technician) who will troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform advanced repair on mechanical and electrical equipment. The role may lead and train other team members in the absence of a Shop Foreman or Service Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical and electrical equipment problems.
Perform advanced/complex repair on all types of equipment (generators, HVAC, compressors, diesel engines).
Scope customers’ needs and provide solutions.
Provide leadership and training to other team members.
Maintain safe driving record and comply with DOT physical examination requirements.
Qualifications
5–7 years of experience repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
DOT Physical Examination (Medical card).
EPA Section 608 universal certification required.
Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, diesel, HVAC, and refrigeration systems; experience with VFDs, VSDs, soft starts, and motor starting.
Experience with load‑bank repairs and dehumidification equipment.
Physical Demands Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 25 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with applicable laws.
Base Pay Range $26.54 – $38.14 per hour (starting rate may vary).
