Overview Electrolit Manufacturing USA (EMUSA) is a new, state-of-the-art beverage manufacturing facility currently under construction in Waco, TX. The 640,000 sq ft facility will operate on a 24/7 schedule with a target start date of January 2026 and will manufacture and distribute the 26 flavors of Electrolit™, the fastest growing isotonic hydration beverage in the US.

Position Summary The primary responsibility of the Industrial Engineer is to lead process improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operation. This role identifies and implements process improvements that drive operational efficiency, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Lean Manufacturing, DMAIC problem-solving, and KPI development/tracking, with the ability to work cross-functionally to achieve measurable results. This position will involve working with sensitive information and requires an NDA. The Industrial Engineer will report to the Industrial Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, quality, safety, and cost.

Lead and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and 5S implementation.

Apply DMAIC methodology to identify root causes, develop corrective actions, and sustain improvements.

Develop, monitor, and report on KPIs to measure process performance and track improvement progress.

Partner with production, quality, and maintenance teams to implement standardized work processes.

Lead cost-reduction projects without compromising product quality or safety.

Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity planning.

Utilize statistical analysis tools to drive data-based decision-making.

Provide training and coaching to team members on Lean and continuous improvement principles.

Support new product introductions and process validation activities.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Knowledge and Skills

Proficiency in data analysis and process mapping.

Experience developing and managing KPIs in a production setting.

Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP/MES systems preferred.

Fluency in English; Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

3+ years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, SMED, Kanban, VSM) and Six Sigma/DMAIC methodology.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification preferred.

Other Requirements

Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time.

Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
