The Maintenance Parts Coordinator plays a key role in managing maintenance inventory, ordering parts and supplies, and ensuring efficient stock control to support smooth operational performance. This position is essential in minimizing costs, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and ensuring maintenance activities run seamlessly. We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can take ownership and truly be the champion of the maintenance parts process!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and efficient stock levels of maintenance parts to support production and repair schedules.

Order all maintenance-related parts, including spares, specialized, and critical components.

Balance cost efficiency with operational readiness by minimizing expenses while maintaining high service levels.

Obtain quotes from vendors for stock and special part requests from maintenance staff.

Create and submit purchase requests with quotes for maintenance-related parts and services.

Track purchase orders from request to delivery, monitoring payments, delays, tracking numbers, and part verification.

Maintain and reorder shop consumables as needed; assist with general shop organization.

Manage inventories of supplies that support key stakeholders and departments.

Utilize the CMMS to process inventory transactions, work order parts, purchase orders, and receiving documentation.

Receive and restock all spare parts through CMMS.

Provide the Maintenance Planner with daily updates on critical spare part orders.

Support the Planner by kitting parts for preventive maintenance (PMs) and repairs.

Assist maintenance technicians with locating parts in-house or coordinating special orders.

Become familiar with production equipment and assist with part identification, including taking photos for RFQs.

Skills:

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel).

Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving abilities with mechanical aptitude.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience with CMMS/ERP systems preferred.

5+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance environments preferred.

Previous experience managing parts and inventory required.

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Rate:$27–$31 per hour
