Join us to discover what your career can become. Responsibilities This is a part-time Building/Watch Engineer position located in Laurel, MD, at the FDA facility.
A Maryland First Class license is required. Hourly rate: $38.00 Coverage : All shifts, Friday 4:00 pm to Monday 8:00 am Typical Day Perform watch duties at the central plant Conduct inspections of systems and equipment daily, weekly, and monthly Perform scheduled preventative and general maintenance Maintain equipment to industry standards Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues as required Assist subcontractors with installations and repairs Coordinate with building management to ensure client satisfaction Run wiring, cabling, ductwork, and mount equipment per specifications Operate HVAC, electrical, and security systems Prepare predictive maintenance to prevent breakdowns Document work accurately on tickets or work orders Qualifications 7-10 years experience in facilities over one million sq. ft. Plant experience required Active Maryland First Class license Strong building operations knowledge Knowledge of BAS is a plus EOE, including disability/veterans Seniority level
