Road Technician (Pump and Power Road) that troubleshoots and diagnoses complex mechanical and electrical equipment problems, performs advanced/complex repair on all types of equipment, scopes customers’ needs, and provides solutions. May lead and train other team members in the absence of a Shop Foreman or Service Manager. Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical and electrical equipment problems. Perform advanced/complex repairs on Pump & Power equipment. Assess and fulfill customers’ equipment needs with effective solutions. Lead and train other team members in the absence of a Shop Foreman or Service Manager. Qualifications
5-7 years of experience repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. DOT Physical Examination (Medical card). EPA Section 608 universal Certification required. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Advanced understanding and repair of mechanical, electrical and diesel equipment, generators, HVAC and air compressors. Advanced understanding of refrigeration (EPA Certified). Mastery of load bank repairs. Advanced understanding of electrical engines and controllers. Advanced operation of dehumidification equipment (CDI and Munters). Experience with VFDs, VSDs, soft starts, and across-the-line motor starting preferred. Some factory diesel, generator, compressor, HVAC training. Physical Demands
The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 25 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with applicable laws. Equal Opportunity

Base Pay Range: $26.54 - $38.14 per hour. Starting rates vary based on factors including position, location, education, training, and experience. Sunbelt Rentals provides a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees, including health, dental and vision plans; 401(k) match; volunteer time off; disability, life and travel insurance; flexible spending options; tuition reimbursement; EAP; and service awards. Eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days from start date. PTO details vary by policy.
