We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Surveyor to join our growing team in Reno, Nevada.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assists in preparing survey proposals and manage budgets.

Responsible for managing field crews.

Assists in maintaining staff schedules and deliverables.

Prepares accurate, complete, and value-added work products and perform complex survey computations.

Perform construction staking calculations.

Analyze and review work of survey crews and technicians.

Responsible for reducing field data utilizing field codes and stringing (field to office data collection).

Prepares cut sheets.

Interpret design plans for construction staking calculations and coordinates with engineering staff to ensure proper interpretation.

Analyzes title reports and legal descriptions along with necessary map and deed research.

Assists in boundary analysis.

Prepare plats and legal descriptions.

Prepares Tentative Maps, Parcel Maps, Final Maps, Record of Survey and ALTA Maps.

Works closely with Director of Surveying, Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers to obtain project information and ensure drawings are accurate and complete.

Requirements

Land Surveyor in training (LSIT) or Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license

Proven experience in land surveying, with 4+ years of relevant work experience

Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Trimble

Strong data analysis skills for interpreting survey data accurately
