Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Packaging Associate (D Shift: Thursday to Saturday, every other Wednesday from 5:45 pm to 6:00 am) is responsible for all functions in the cocoa packaging process while adhering to all GMP and HACCP operating procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
Monitors the automatic metal detector.
Manual recordkeeping of all Finished Goods leaving the production area.
Feeds Packing material to the packaging line.
Quality control of bag weight and bag sealing.
1st level troubleshooting of bag weight and bag sealing.
Keep work area clean.
Must promote a safe working environment and good GMP’s.
Committed to providing a safe food product.
Works within all regulatory requirements.
Perform all other related duties as requested.
About you
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted.
Experience driving a forklift.
Desirable certified forklift operator.
Able to multitask and work independently.
Team player with good communication skills.
