Summary The Supply Chain Administrator prepares and processes purchase orders, coordinates and processes shipments, receives and processes deliveries, plans jobs inside the ERP system, and provides other administrative support as required. Reports to the Operations Supervisor.

What You Will Do
PURCHASING:
Prepare Request‑for‑Quotations (RFQs) on behalf of management or engineers and work with viable vendors to obtain pricing and delivery quotations.
Review purchase requisitions and turn them into purchase orders.
Maintain an up‑to‑date Approved Supplier list.
Track purchase orders; communicate changes to delivery status to the purchase requestor via email.
SHIPPING:
Coordinate shipments as directed by shipping forms.
Arrange for shipment with UPS or a freight carrier.
Obtain required approvals for overnight shipments.
Prepare and print pack slips and shipping labels; help package shipments as needed.
Update shipment status daily.
Track shipment of customer or government property using the Customer Property spreadsheet.
RECEIVING:
Receive deliveries.
Verify that items and quantities received match the pack slip.
Verify that all required paperwork is included, complete, and legible.
Work with suppliers to obtain all required paperwork as needed.
Manage site inventory as needed; issue material, return material, kit jobs, etc.
PLANNING:
Ensure jobs are planned in accordance with Karman Quality Processes.
What We Are Looking For
Required Education: High School diploma.
Preferred Education: Associate’s Degree or higher.
Preferred Experience: More than 2 years in an office administration position.
Must be willing to handle dangerous goods.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
General administrative duties as needed.
