You will manage complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations, leveraging your strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and your experience preparing and filing business and personal tax returns.
What You Will Do
Maintain sensitive customer, confidential and proprietary business information responsibly.
Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to provide accurate tax advice in everyday language.
Conduct virtual, customer‑facing interactions via video communication software, documenting interactions to keep accurate records.
Interact with customers and team members professionally, upholding Intuit’s operating values, including “integrity without compromise.”
What You Need
Strong business tax preparation experience: 3+ years preparing federal and state business returns (1065 and/or 1120‑S) for at least 20 clients per season, using commercial tax software.
Active unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney.
Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, at least 30 returns per year in a tax practice or retail setting.
Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days.
Bookkeeping experience preferred; strong knowledge of the service industry is a plus.
State, license, or permit compliance as required (including PTIN).
Knowledge of Circular 230 and proficiency with computer operations and software.
Excellent verbal and written communication and strong customer service skills for video and audio interactions.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
A reliable internet connection meeting Intuit’s security criteria.
Compensation Competitive base pay and additional incentives (cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits). Base pay ranges vary by location:
Bay Area, CA: $40.10 – $46.20
Southern CA: $40.10 – $46.20
Colorado: $38.20 – $43.90
Hawaii: $40.10 – $46.20
Illinois: $38.20 – $43.90
Maryland: $38.20 – $43.90
Massachusetts: $40.10 – $46.20
Minnesota: $34.40 – $39.56
New Jersey: $40.10 – $46.20
New York: $40.10 – $46.20
Ohio: $34.40 – $39.56
Vermont: $38.20 – $43.90
Washington: $40.10 – $46.20
