Nesco Resource is partnering with a long-term manufacturing client in their search for a skilled and reliable Plant Maintenance Technician. This is a full time role that is ideal for someone with experience troubleshooting, repairing, and handling maintenance programs. Work Schedule • Monday – Friday, 6 AM – 2:30 PM; occasional overtime and weekend work for emergencies and projects as needed. Pay Rate: $26.00 - $34.00 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform and improve preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.

Inspect, diagnose, and repair plant equipment such as motors, pumps, conveyors, compressors, and valves.

Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and equipment documentation (warranties, licenses, service agreements, etc.).

Monitor equipment performance and recommend efficiency or reliability improvements.

Ensure compliance with company safety and housekeeping standards.

Support installation of new machinery and respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.

Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or upgrades.

Manage tools, parts, and supply inventory; recommend purchases as needed.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience / Education

High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or associate degree preferred.

2–5 years of industrial or plant maintenance experience.

Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.

Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and fabrication; proficient with related tools and equipment.

Familiarity with PLC systems, control panels, and technical documentation (manuals, schematics, blueprints).

Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel) for maintenance logging and diagnostics.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills; able to multitask and meet deadlines.

Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and facility systems; able to troubleshoot compressors, pumps, and lighting.

Understanding of safety standards including Lockout/Tagout, PPE, and crane safety.
