JOB SUMMARY: This person will provide day-to-day leadership and supervision to achieve productivity, schedule attainment, quality, and Employee Health Safety programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coach and support the area of responsibility.

Coordinate daily with teams, other supervisors, and departments. Direct work assignments according to the production schedule, plan and organize activities of the production/assembly line to meet deadlines.

Monitor housekeeping (5 pillars) and address safety issues.

Ensure compliance with environmental, productivity, quality, and health & safety standards.

Identify and implement continuous improvement projects.

Prepare and adhere to the department budget.

Enforce policies and procedures; apply disciplinary actions as needed.

Maintain production reports and records; take corrective actions when necessary.

Coordinate departmental maintenance and engineering needs.

Manage inventory analysis.

Order and purchase necessary equipment or materials for production.

Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field is preferred, or 3-5 years of experience in production supervision.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

At least 2 years of industry experience.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Strong leadership, influence, and communication skills. Proven ability to lead process improvements in a team environment.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple operations. High integrity.
