Yellowstone Club’s Member Services department is seeking candidates for a Mountain Access Concierge Supervisor for the upcoming Winter season. Our Winter employment dates are November 3 – April 12. The purpose of the Mountain Access Concierge Supervisor is to ensure the smooth operation of the Mountain Access Concierge team. A Mountain Access Concierge at Yellowstone Club takes on duties that encompass more than traditional skier services. Mountain Access Concierge is responsible for Member and guest tracking as well as ski pass and vehicle card management. Responsibilities
Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly or indirectly supervises employees and/or supervisors; carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Club’s policies, procedures and applicable laws; responsibilities include but are not limited to: interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and assisting in software and program development. Essential Job Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Manage all facets of Member and guest tracking in relation to staff and software. Manage all active JotForms (Member facing and employee facing) and Smartsheet’s for the Mountain Access team. Maintain Member/guest history system with Member/guest preferences. Assist with the continued development and implementation of the Yellowstone Club access control system in its relation to Members and guests as well as on mountain activity. Coordinate with the Concierge Manager to maintain functionality of access control systems. Assist the Concierge Manager with development of third party software system’s functionality to better meet the needs of Yellowstone Club’s Member and guest management and tracking systems. Gather and manage Member and guest arrival and departure information to develop access control cards. Lead the Mountain Access Concierge team in preparing and packaging Member and guest access cards. Organize, manage, and maintain the Mountain Access Concierge front of house and back of house areas. Monitor inventory of supplies and materials related to the Mountain Access Concierge job. Communicate effectively to the Concierge Manager about needs and issues that arise within the Mountain Access Concierge staff. Create and maintain ongoing training programs to develop a strong staff. Update Concierge Handbook and Mountain Access Concierge Manual on a routine basis. Maintain Mountain Access related documents/resources/draft emails with the most updated information. Hire, train, evaluate, and offer progressive coaching to all staff for the Mountain Access Concierge team. Maintain payroll and assist with being a housing liaison for individuals in YC housing. Maintain a professional appearance and have an eager and flexible attitude. Possess competent interpersonal relationship skills, etiquette, and protocol. Generate schedules, checklists, and daily to-do lists for staff. Maintain existing procedures to ensure that information is passed along to team members in a timely fashion. Qualifications
Experience/Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university or five or more year’s related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have prior managerial experience in two or more positions/locations. Experience/Education Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or related field with 2 plus years of managerial experience within the hospitality or customer service related industry. Certificates & Licenses: Valid Driver’s License Computer Skills: Competence in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook required. Proficiency in navigating and utilizing multiple platforms such as Smartsheet, Salesforce, and Axcess. Advanced keyboarding and phone skills with the ability to multitask across various systems efficiently. Language Ability: Able to speak clearly and effectively with Members, guests, co-workers, vendors and other Yellowstone Club departments. Ability to write clearly and legibly. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Math Ability: Able to perform basic math calculations. Reasoning Ability: Technology related problem solving is a must. Ability to test and resolve issues without involving development. Ability to solve basic problems and/or know when it is necessary to get a manager to assist in problem solving. Work Environment: The work environment may include climate-controlled settings or outdoor conditions (cold, rain, wind, snow or inclement weather) as dictated by the position. Physical Demands: The employee must be able to walk, use hands and arms, lift up to 20 pounds, talk and/or hear, and frequently read and analyze information.
