Coalesce Management Consulting is supporting a leading renewable energy developer with a well established presence in Nevada and a strong pipeline of projects.
The business currently has two several active BESS projects in Nevada progressing in different stages of development so they are looking for a Project Manager to support their delivery.
Requirement Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a utility‑scale BESS projects in Nevada during the engineering and pre‑construction phases.
This role will involve close coordination with EPC partners, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The position is ideal for someone with strong technical grounding and a hands‑on approach to project delivery within the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate daily project delivery activities for two standalone BESS sites in Texas.
Manage and interface with EPC partners, subcontractors, and site/construction managers to drive project progress.
Review and enforce contractual obligations, ensuring compliance with scope, cost, and quality requirements.
Identify and resolve project issues proactively, escalating where necessary.
Collaborate with engineering and project teams across regions to maintain consistent standards and documentation.
Conduct site visits (1–2 times per month) to monitor progress and maintain strong working relationships with field teams.
Prepare project status reports and ensure transparent communication across all stakeholders.
Required Experience
Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager in the energy, utilities, or renewables sector.
Hands‑on experience delivering Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) or other large‑scale power infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of EPC contracts and the ability to interpret and enforce commercial and technical terms.
Familiarity with substation or transmission construction.
Skilled in managing multiple contractors and coordinating between engineering and construction disciplines.
Excellent stakeholder communication, documentation, and issue‑resolution skills.
Preferred Experience
Prior experience with independent power producers (IPPs), developers, or EPCs on U.S. renewable projects.
Understanding of permitting, grid interconnection, and compliance processes within Texas.
Engineering background (electrical, mechanical, or civil discipline preferred).
