Overview

Operations Manager (Focus Factory Manager) responsible for profit and loss of the business unit while leading cross-functional teams to meet or exceed objectives. Leads production functions including mechanical assembly, team leaders, production control, manufacturing engineers and quality oversight. Uses data and process rigor to identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement and champions continuous improvement and lean principles to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Builds and leads a motivated, high-performing team with strong communication, transparency, and focus on growth and development. Responsibilities

Lead production teams across multiple complex business units to meet or exceed KPI targets for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity, including root cause analysis and countermeasures. Lead and participate in continuous improvement events using Ralliant Business Systems (RBS) to drive improvements in Safety, Quality, On-Time Delivery, cost savings, inventory reduction, and adherence to EAC. Review backlog, plan production (materials, machines, manpower) and evaluate capacity; determine additional countermeasures to meet customer needs. Manage cross-training to develop a flexible, productive team. Evaluate resource utilization (machines, equipment, manpower) and recommend capacity adjustments to align with business needs. Ensure machines, tools, and equipment are properly maintained to produce quality products with minimal downtime. Manage P&L and implement cost controls as needed. Collaborate with EHS, HR, Engineering, New Product Development, Business Development, Supply Chain and Program Management. Provide accurate shipment forecasts and achieve forecast accuracy; maintain minimal inventory levels. Formulate a multi-year strategic plan and drive growth; participate in talent review and succession planning. Own revenue, costs, productivity, cost of quality, program performance, inventory management, and bid support for the business unit(s); manage end-to-end processes (purchase to shipment) including bid planning, demand and production planning, manufacturing, product testing and inspection. Foster a positive, inclusive, high-performance culture; support engagement and diversity initiatives. Establish effective Daily Management and Standard Work; coach and develop direct reports. Work with cross-functional resources to optimize capacity, efficiency, and profitability through facility and equipment improvements. Champion company initiatives in safety, quality, and engagement. Qualifications

Strong knowledge of production processes in a lean manufacturing environment. Proficient in Ralliant Business Systems (RBS) or other CI systems with Lean and/or Six Sigma principles; demonstrated results. Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and reporting tools. Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization. Excellent verbal and written communication and facilitation skills. Previous ordnance experience is a plus. Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment; strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite. Education And Experience

BS Degree in Business, Management or Engineering. 12+ years of experience in manufacturing/operations with previous management responsibility. Preferred Experience: Manufacturing Engineering; Quality Engineering; Continuous Improvement Engineer/Leader. About Ralliant and PacSci EMC

Bonus or Equity: This position is eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package. Pay Range: 111,500.00 - 207,100.00 (local currency).
