Overview
Production Scheduler role at Golden State Foods. Responsible for daily and weekly schedules of liquid products, ensuring efficient workflow, optimal inventory levels, and on-time delivery. What You’ll Do
Develop, update, and manage detailed production schedules based on forecasts and capacity. Monitor manufacturing operations to ensure alignment with schedule; adjust plans as needed. Maintain communication with production, warehouse, purchasing, and transportation to ensure alignment. Identify and recommend schedule adjustments and process improvements to enhance efficiency. Support annual inventory audit and ensure compliance with GSF policies. Perform related duties and special projects as assigned. What You’ll Need
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Materials Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred). 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in manufacturing scheduling, transportation, and logistics. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proficiency with PC word processing, spreadsheets, inventory control software. Understanding of warehousing concepts, inventory, order, financial systems. Experience with transportation concepts, food manufacturing, management concepts. Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to coordinate with employees, vendors, and customers. Ability to work efficiently in a general business environment with strong focus on quality and customer service excellence. Travel as needed by airplane and automobile. Uphold GSF’s Values and Creed.
