Branch Service Supervisor or Senior – Carrollwood Join Synovus as a Branch Service Supervisor or Senior at our Carrollwood branch. In this role you will supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the Personal Banker line, ensuring efficient and compliant service delivery.

Job Summary Supervises and coordinates day‑to‑day activities of the Personal Banker line for one or more bank branches. Manages Personal Banker schedules and branch coverage, ensuring continuous coverage of PB functions and compliance with bank policies, procedures, regulations and operational guidelines. Works closely with branch management to communicate key policy changes, leads cross‑selling and referral efforts, and supports branch referral goals. Accountable for proper compliance with branch operations and may mentor less experienced supervisors, manage float team members and special projects as requested.

Responsibilities

Supervise and organize daily operations of the Personal Banker line, manage zone scheduling and staffing to maintain adequate coverage.

Support Personal Bankers in delivering outstanding customer interactions and efficient transaction execution.

Lead lobby coaching and ensure seamless customer transfers; uphold Branch Transformation expectations.

Coach and develop team performance, communicate updates on policies, products, and procedures.

Adhere to Branch Operations Standards, policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines; maintain fraud awareness.

Maintain branch security policies, alarm codes, cash controls, and open/close procedures.

Educate team on quarterly Branch Management Operations checklist and identify improvement areas.

Handle customer inquiries, provide issue resolution, and maintain professional customer service.

Drive referral performance, model sales activity, track referral activity using Sales Management system.

Participate in daily huddles, weekly sales meetings, and training activities; champion assigned products.

Manage cash logistics, including coin and currency shipments and currency transaction reporting.

Serve as Personal Banker Insight Branch Administrator, managing user profiles and authority assignments.

Lead customer satisfaction survey initiatives and address service trend findings.

Model Synovus culture and values in interactions; maintain a collaborative team environment.

Serve as branch leader in absence of Retail Market Manager or Lead Relationship Banker.

Communicate operational policy changes to leadership and oversee implementation.

Demonstrate professionalism in appearance, punctuality, and behavior; maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Manage annual performance and merit processes for direct and indirect reports; engage Human Resources on employee matters.

Perform other related duties as required.

Minimum Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum one of the following:

• Two (2) years of Personal Banker experience; or

• One (1) year of experience as a Personal Banker Supervisor or as a Branch Manager with Personal Banker duties; or

• Two (2) years of supervisory experience that includes one year of Personal Banker experience; or

• A Bachelor's degree and one year of Personal Banker experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of bank branch operational functions, systems, policies and procedures.

Understanding and knowledge of bank compliance rules and regulations.

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with ability to quickly establish rapport.

Strong listening skills and positive communicator.

Account reconciliation skills.

Careful attention to detail with ability to manage time and multi‑task.

Proficiency using Microsoft Office software products.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Bachelor's degree.
