Job Description Summary Determine raw material components and labels that are required by Departments. Deliver materials such as 700, 800, 900 and molding to their respective areas without production interruption. Provide material handling support through transportation of product to and from manufacturing stages manually or using a powered lift truck, ensuring budgeted throughput rates and maintaining operations in the department.
Essential Functions
Transport finished products from manufacturing to pre‑sterile or shipping areas.
Determine raw material requirements, retrieve materials from correct location, complete issuing transactions and deliver to manufacturing.
Verify correct count before and after selecting materials from a location.
Maintain license plates in current locations as needed.
Deliver molded components to Raw Material Warehouse.
Scan materials to storage locations in warehouse.
Remove materials from warehouse storage locations and prepare for transportation to production.
Deliver raw materials to the suggested storage area for the production area; pallets must be clean prior to entering the production area per GMP.
Communicate with the Receiving Coordinator, Purchasing, Planners, and Production Supervisors about shortages or potential shortages.
Keep aware of the daily schedule and organize raw materials for current and new orders to be run on the next shift.
Cycle count raw materials to maintain inventory accuracy; report discrepancies to the Receiving Coordinator.
Minimum Requirement
High School Diploma or GED.
