About The Company
Loop Neighborhood Market is based in Union City, Calif., with stores and stations across California. The company was founded in 1978 and develops real estate and owns and operates gas stations with convenience stores and car washes. Loop Neighborhood Market also has a wholesale division that delivers fuel to dealer locations.
Position Summary This position requires individuals who are skilled in supporting management operations and leading diverse teams. As an Assistant Team Leader, you will aid the store manager in all aspects of store operations, including completing daily paperwork, troubleshooting car wash and fuel pump issues, and supporting merchandising and inventory activities.
Primary Responsibilities
Training and coaching new store staff
Assisting with schedule creation in the time‑keeping system
Stocking products and maintaining a clean, professional store appearance
Forecasting, ordering, stocking, and merchandising products
Reconciling store paperwork promptly
Providing efficient and courteous customer service to customers, vendors, and staff
Maintaining a clean, customer‑friendly environment inside the store and on surrounding property
Assisting with store staff management
Troubleshooting and resolving car wash related issues
Fixing gas pump related issues, such as drive‑offs and pumps being down
Additional duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Six to nine months’ experience as an assistant manager or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong mathematics ability
Strong written and oral communication skills
Desire to be part of a performance‑driven team
Reliable transportation to and from your workplace
Physical Requirements The Assistant Team Leader position requires constant standing, bending, and reaching with a moderate amount of manual dexterity. Frequent lifting of 1 to 5 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 40‑50 pounds are required.

Salary $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
