Salary Range: $80,000 - $85,000
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Overview Reporting to the Assistant Director for Procurement, the Analyst will independently run all aspects of the end-to-end procurement process consistently across all CUFO departments. The analyst will run procurement processes for design, construction, service maintenance, and other facilities-related goods and services.
Responsibilities
Drafting and issuing Request for Proposals, Requests for Information, and other procurement-related documents
Manage the RFP process, analysis, and leveling of proposals
Participate in vendor evaluation meetings, facilitating communications of awards
Manage contract documents and assist with the processing of purchase orders and change orders
Draft, negotiate, and finalize contract documents for all procurements completed, including new contracts and contract amendments
Ensure the process is completed in compliance with University and CUFO policies
Independently assess change order requests and determine their validity and compliance with project budget and project controls
Support the sourcing and onboarding of new vendors, updating key performance indicators developed by the Associate Director to manage the unit’s performance
Assist with the documentation of all policies and procedures for the unit, assist with the management of the University’s vendor database for easy and accurate reporting, and special projects
Performs other special projects and duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and/or its equivalent
A minimum of 2 to 4 years of related experience is required
Exceptional customer service and communication skills, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, the ability to follow through with assigned tasks efficiently and accurately
Ability to exercise solid judgment and establish priorities for workload, the ability to translate solutions into policies and procedures to ensure continuity of application across projects, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Must have a high degree of personal and professional integrity; be customer focused (internal and external); take initiative; can quickly grasp new concepts; is organized and thorough
Able to multitask and manage workload; pays close attention to detail; proactive
Experience in a fast-paced environment requiring rapid decision-making and flexibility
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of the capital construction process
