Specialist Director, Contracts Management, Team Lead at
KPMG US . KPMG Advisory practice is growing rapidly, with ongoing client demand. This role provides strategic leadership for the Managed Services Contract Management team and requires collaboration across business units to draft, negotiate, and execute contracts in alignment with firm standards.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Managed Services Contract Management team across all solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
Lead a team of contract professionals responsible for drafting, negotiating, and executing contracts for assigned MS Solutions, coordinating with business teams, Finance, Risk management, OGC, and other KPMG functions.
Liaise with stakeholders across Sales, Solution Management, and Delivery to ensure contracts are produced timely and in compliance with Firm standards; uphold integrity, professionalism, and respect in the workplace.
Work with the Market Growth Team to ensure proper setup of opportunities and readiness of Sentinels before contracting.
Maintain a database summarizing contract terms across active engagements; manage contract schedules and assist CSMs and Market Growth Team to drive renewals; support compliance activities including Sentinels, CEACs, and related documentation.
Collaborate with Risk Management and OGC to update contract templates and processes, maintain consistent language across templates, and work with Managed Services Solution Leads to vet issues for faster go-to-market and client contracting templates.
Qualifications
Minimum eight years of recent experience in a consultative services organization; management experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
Proven track record of leading successful contracting teams, with a focus on managed services.
Strong contract negotiation skills with internal stakeholders (Risk, OGC, Finance Business Owners) and external Clients; excellent stakeholder management, communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking.
Strong and proactive program management skills with the ability to drive the contracting process and communicate effectively across all levels.
Ability to multi-task at a high level with strong organizational, problem-solving, and process-improvement capabilities; demonstrated leadership.
Ability to travel as necessary.
