100% JOB DESCRIPTION: Olympic Medical Physicians provides physician services to the Olympic Medical Cancer Center in Sequim, on Washington State’s beautiful North Olympic Peninsula. OMP seeks team-oriented radiation oncology Physicians to evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation and care to patients presenting with cancer who require or will benefit from radiation therapy. Highlights of the practice include: Lifestyle-balancing 4-day work week. Industry-leading support staff ratios, including robust RN support. Ready access to local consultants as part of a large multispecialty group. Integrated electronic healthcare record system (EPIC) with local and regional hospital systems. State of the art rural cancer center with medical oncology, infusion services, and dual linear accelerator facilities on site. The successful radiation oncologist Physician at OMP is focused on providing excellent person-centered care to rural patients as part of a multi-disciplinary team. EDUCATION: Medical degree from an accredited school. Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA approved postgraduate training program in radiation oncology. Successful completion of requirements of the American Board of Radiology for certification in radiation oncology. Maintains appropriate Continuing Medical Education credits per Washington State and OMC Medical Staff requirements. EXPERIENCE: Completion of radiation oncology fellowship. Two years of practice in radiation oncology preferred. LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS: Board certified or active participant in the examination process leading to certification in radiation oncology and area of sub-specialty (if any). Recertifies at appropriate intervals per specialty board requirements. Maintains an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Washington. Maintains current DEA registration. Maintains current BLS certification. Maintains appropriate privileges and membership on the OMC Medical Staff. QUALITIES: Advocates for patient-centered care. Highly skilled in effective interpersonal communication and diplomatic relations with public, patients, nursing staff, supervisors, and coworkers. Consistently demonstrates ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner. UNION:
