POSITION SUMMARY Under the supervision of the Dentist, the Dental Assistant performs non-professional work assisting the Dentist during examination and treatment of patients and in the routine handling of instruments and supplies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
LICENSING:
None required. Registered with Virginia Board of Dentistry as a Dental Assistant II preferred.
CERTIFICATION:
Current CPR Certification.
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience working in a dental setting and/or correctional health care setting preferred.
