Eating Disorder PHP/IOP Program In early 2026, Penn Medicine Princeton Center for Eating Disorders will expand its continuum of care to include a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and intensive outpatient program (IOP) for adults. We are looking for passionate individuals to join an interdisciplinary team of therapists, dieticians, nursing, milieu coordinators, and psychiatric providers to deliver evidence-based care. The PHP will run five days a week from 9:00‑3:30 and the IOP will run three days a week from 11:30‑3:30.

Summary

Provide high-quality comprehensive clinical services that include clinical triage, psychosocial evaluations, individual, group and family treatment, treatment plan development and coordination, referent relations, discharge planning, and case management with social service support systems, schools and other relevant external entities. The above services shall be provided under supervision of the appropriate clinical discipline.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate competency in the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to meet the psychological and social needs of the program’s patient population.

Conduct individual, group and family therapy sessions.

Conduct initial evaluation and ongoing assessment of patient functioning as well as risk and maintenance factors.

Complete clinical documentation in accordance with Princeton House standards.

Coordinate the development and implementation of the multidisciplinary treatment plan and complete treatment plan reviews within established time frames.

Attend treatment rounds, providing input to and being receptive to input from other members of the treatment team.

Identify changes in the patient’s clinical status and communicate to the appropriate member of the treatment team.

Perform case management with internal and external entities to ensure smooth transitions across the continuum of care.

Coordinate discharge planning and communicate the plan clearly to patient, family and all other providers involved. Complete discharge summaries within established time frames.

Maintain 100% contact with providers in the community involved in patient care (e.g., therapists, doctors, schools, probation officers, etc.).

Conduct outreach to non-attending patients per PHBH policy.

Monitor patient attendance and length of stay in the scheduled program.

Complete utilization management and pre-certification forms accurately and promptly.

Participate in hospital and performance improvement initiatives and goals (e.g., patient satisfaction surveys, outcome measurements).

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Credentials

L-LAC, LSW or PS (Required)

Must be eligible to obtain New Jersey State licensure and obtain such licensure within one year of hire date. Appropriate licenses include LSW, LAC, and psychologist with a 3-year permit to practice in New Jersey.

Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor

New Jersey certificate in addictions treatment such as the CADC or CDA preferred.

Education or Equivalent Experience

Master of Arts or Science (Required)

Psychiatric Programs: Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in the social sciences. Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years of experience in treatment of the specific program’s patient population.

Addictions Programs: Minimum Qualifications: A Master’s degree in the social sciences with an LSW, LAC or psychologist with a 3-year permit and experience in treating substance abuse problems. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in the social sciences. Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years of experience in treatment of the specific program’s patient population.

Salary Range Salary Range:

$64,390.56 - $102,664.22 annually based on 40 hours per week.
