Registered Nurse MedSurg – Travel Position

Pay: $1,870/week
Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join a healthcare facility in Lawrenceburg, TN on a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing acute care patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for medical-surgical patients. Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed. Monitor patient conditions and promptly report significant changes to the healthcare team. Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately and in compliance with facility standards. Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions. Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to provide patient-centered care. Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards. Qualifications
Current and valid RN license in Tennessee (or compact eligibility). Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg nursing experience in an acute care setting. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS preferred. Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills. Compassionate and adaptable approach to patient care. COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test. Benefits
