Responsibilities Job Summary Evaluate, administer, and oversee evidence-based occupational or physical therapy services for individuals with Lymphedema. Develop and update treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families, following physician guidelines and organizational standards. Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and supervise therapy assistants. Essential Functions Implement individualized treatment plans using skilled therapy techniques and provide instructions to patients and caregivers. Evaluate patients, synthesize data, and establish treatment goals with ongoing response assessments. Maintain accurate documentation including evaluations, treatment notes, and discharge summaries. Consult with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate care and discharge planning. Supervise therapy staff, participate in departmental programs, and stay updated with professional education and compliance requirements. Education Master's Degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy from an accredited university (preferred). Bachelor's Degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy (required). Experience 1 year of MLD in direct patient care (preferred). Licenses and Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) (required). Lymphedema Therapy Certification or eligibility to sit for exam (required). Occupational Therapy License (required). Physical Therapy License (required).
