Overview
Experienced Veterinary Technician - Adobe Animal Hospital is actively looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are seeking an organized, compassionate, and service-oriented Veterinary Technician who is confident in rooming patients, assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood, and running bloodwork. The candidate should have experience with x-rays and proper positioning, understand the importance of client education, and be a supportive and positive team player. Salary: $15 - 18 per hour. Schedule: Part-time and full-time opportunities available. Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 6 pm. Opening on Saturdays soon. Closed on Sunday and major holidays. Location: 3140 Trawood Dr, El Paso, TX 79936. Bilingual (Spanish) speakers encouraged to apply. Who You Are
5+ years of veterinary experience as a veterinary technician or assistant License in the State of Texas preferred but not required Knowledge of basic industry tools and equipment Able to lift and handle large dogs (over 50 lbs) Experience with proper animal handling/restraint Help in the exam rooms alongside the veterinarian Work closely with other team members to assist in daily hospital duties (bloodwork, x-rays, animal monitoring, vaccines, exams, surgery, etc.) Positive team player Able to multitask effectively and efficiently General housekeeping Stocking supplies and counting inventory What Makes Us Different
