Responsibilities Administer chemotherapy and other medications to oncology patients.

Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.

Evaluate patient responses to treatments and adjust care plans accordingly.

Educate patients and families about treatment plans and side effects.

Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

Engage in performance metrics to track personal and team success.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Assist in the development of care plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the oncology department.

Provide emotional support to patients and families during treatment.

Experience/Qualifications Current RN license in Wisconsin with oncology specialization preferred.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

Experience in administering chemotherapy and managing oncology patient care.

Ability to monitor vital signs and recognize changes in patient conditions.

Strong communication skills for patient and family education.

Familiarity with safety protocols and infection control measures.

Ability to provide emotional support to patients during treatment.

Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Proficient in maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.

Willingness to participate in quality improvement initiatives.
