Grand Canyon University has an opening for **A****djunct Health Care faculty members for an in-person, Main Campus course,** and we invite applications from individuals who are enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge with our Health Care students.* Provide program instruction, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies and other industry trends reflecting advancements in your discipline* Maintain compliance with requirements for program accreditation* Uphold the tenets of nursing as a holistic profession as well as the pillars of the University* Equip students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance, and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession* Participate in and/or support of the university program in all areas including an evident congruence with the philosophy and direction of the institution, and service to the community* Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University* Masters/Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology or related field with 18 graduate credits in Linguistics.* 2 or more years of professional experience **using the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) required. If your resume does not include IPA, you will not be considered.*** Previous professional experience teaching communication sciences and disorders at the postsecondary level is preferred.* **We are currently hiring for the Spring semester, 1/5/26-4/26/26.*** **Class runs 2 days a week - Tuesdays and Thursdays - from 11:00am-12:45pm.*** **As this is an in-person class, only local AZ candidates will be considered.*** Must successfully pass a drug screen.* Excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with students* Proficient in English, Grammar, and writing in APA format* Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.GCU's Christian worldview has shaped the university's mission and growth for more than 65 years.
