The Department of Clinical Laboratories at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Clinical Laboratory Technologist II / Lead Technologist. The successful candidate will: Perform clinical laboratory procedures and examinations, as well as tests or procedures conducted by the Chemistry and Hematology Laboratories. Serve as the Lead Tech, providing guidance and oversight to laboratory team members. Ensure compliance with all departmental, hospital, and governmental regulations. Train personnel on technical methodologies and the interpretation of results. Maintain laboratory inventory and manage statistical records. Facilitate a smooth workflow by assigning appropriate staff to tasks. Assist with coordinating administrative operations for the laboratory. Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed or as business need demands. Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent in Medical Technology, Physical or Biological Science. New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License. Preferred Qualifications: ASCP Certification. Salary Range:
